Teaching
I cannot over-emphasize the importance of office hours. Fordham students are paying a great
deal to attend the university, and part of that is, of course, for the lectures and recitations.
But you also have access to office hours and the Math Help Room, which can be excellent
resources for success. My office hours this term are
- Monday: 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm, in my office.
- Tuesday: 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm, in my office.
- Thursday: 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm, in the Math Help Room.
- If you cannot make any of these, feel free to ask for an appointment via e-mail.
My office is Room 421 in John Mulcahey Hall and the math help room is Room 410.
My teaching for the Fall of 2008 was
- MTRU-1206-0001 Lecture, Calculus I
- MTRU-1206-0004 Recitation, Calculus I
- MTRU-1206-0005 Recitation, Calculus I
- MTRU-1108-000* Recitation, Math Methods in Business: Finite
- MTRU-2021-0001 Lecture, Cryptography (a course I created)
And for the Spring of 2009 it is
- MTRU-2021-0001 Lecture, Differential Equations
- MTRU-1108-0004 Lecture, Math Methods in Business: Finite
In the past, at Fordham, I have taught:
- MTRU-1108 Lecture, Math Methods in Business: Finite [Fall 2007]
- MTRU-2004 Lecture, Multivariate Calculus [Fall 2007]
- MTRU-1109 Lecture, Math Methods in Business: Calculus [Spring 2008]
- MTRU-1109 Lecture, Math Methods in Business: Calculus [Spring 2008]
- MTRU-3005 Lecture, Abstract Algebra [Spring 2008]
