- We will be posting grades online. Before I can post the grades, I will
need your written permission. Please do not email me about this. I will
collect the permission forms during recitation on Wednesday.

- Welcome to the class.
- In the past I have emailed my students at least once a week and whenever something important comes up. If you rarely check your @umd.edu email address, then you should change your contact email so that I can get ahold of you. To change your contact email, simply visit this site and follow the directions.
- If you feel like you need tutoring, there is a tutor list downstairs in the undergraduate office.

- The dates on here should be correct except for the last 2.
- There will be 10 homework assignments this semester.
- Late homework will be accepted IF the student has a reasonable excuse
delivered in a timely fashion; however, it will NOT be accepted after the
solutions have been posted online or the solutions discussed in class. I
plan on posting the solutions every Friday.
Quizzes
There will be 4 quizzes during the semester, which will most likely be given in lecture.
I will no longer post quiz solutions.
