I was born in Jingdezhen, China and graduated from Tsinghua University in Beijing, China. I got my Ph.D. in Mathematics at The Pennsylvania State University, working with Professor Yakov Pesin. I am currently working with Professor Vadim Kaloshin.
My main research interest is dynamical systems, which is a vibrant and diverse field that evolves around certain central ideas. My current focus are on two fields, ergodic theory, more specifically thermodynamical formalism, and Hamiltonian dynamics concerning Arnold diffusion.
I had the chance to teach many courses as a graduate student in Pennstate. The classes I taught includes College Algebra, Calculus I, III, Differential Equations and Linear Algebra. In Maryland I have taught Math 140, 140H (calculus I), 141H (Calulus II), 241H (Calculus III), 412 (Advanced Calculus with applications) and STAT 100 (Elementary Statistics and Probability.
