I am an NSF postdoc at the University of Maryland. My research
interests include hyperbolic geometry and low-dimensional topology.
I recently completed my thesis, advised by
Richard Canary, in which I study the topology of deformation spaces
of hyperbolic 3-manifolds. Specifically, I showed that whenever
S is a closed surface of genus at least 2, the deformation space
AH(S) is not locally connected at certain points on the boundary.
See my
research page for more information.
Slides from some recent presentations that I have given are available here.
