Welcome to my extreme Math 730 page. This page was created primarily for the Fall 2004 class. If you want to see something I created for the class I took in Fall 2003, let me know and I'll try to dig it up. Here you will find notes, misc. problems and any other propaganda I felt like posting relevant to 730. I hope you enjoy the ride and, as always, if you have any questions, comments or stuff to add, let me know!

To everyone who has patiently waiting for site updates: Due to a busier than anticipated schedule, I unfortunately haven't been able to update the site in quite some time. Hopefully, the site will be current before the end of the term (for final and/or qualifying exam preparations).

Notes:

Professor King's MATH 730 homepage which includes the official 730 Journal
The Unofficial Math 730 Journal in
Commentary on the Zariski Topology
My Bredon Companion. While Bredon is far from being the worst book in the world (excellent examples)...there are times when he needs to speak a little English. In my companion, I translate a few of his more obfuscatory statements and, since he passed away in 2000, I tacked on an errata (I'll definitely need your help finding errors!).

Problems:

Homework #1
Homework #2
Homework #3

Miscellany:

To help prepare for exams, definitely check out the

Department of Mathematics Testbank (Currently three Final Exams and two Midterms on file)
Some Old Qualifying Exams
